In the area of Agadir & Mogador, was created this speciality of marquetry in burr of thuja polished and encrusted of lemon motivs, pearl or ebony, sometimes certis of metal. Geometrical arabesques and decorations decorate the coffee tables, the pieces of furniture and the boxes of all sizes and forms. The caracterisic odor of the Thuja as its colors make a single wood of it, moreover one is surprised to see the smoothness of work when one considers the tool which produced it.
