amonite

THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY MILLION YEARS AGO ... ....The Sahara was a sea. As a result of natural carth movements, the sea withrew entirely, depositing quantities of marine animals in course of fossilisation. Three hundert and sixty million years later, men discovered the calcareous rocks thus formed. And the fossils in them. In a state of preservation, concentration, quantity and size never yet seen elsewhere. Simply polished by the sand and the winds, these rocks were beautiful. 0000000 A little mysterious too.
